Description and Location
The Nelson Way site in Escondido specializes in crushing and recycling broken concrete and asphalt. By turning discarded materials into usable aggregate, Romero is helping the environment by reducing landfill waste and conserving natural resources.
The Nelson Way site is available for dump ins (see restrictions below) and sales of recycled class II base.

Dump In Restrictions
- material must be broken concrete, asphalt, or rock
- all material must be 2' minus in diameter
- material can not contain wood, trash, paper, plastic, tile, excess dirt
- all rebar must be cut flush
- no red products allowed: brick, clay, pavers, or roofing tiles
- Romero reserves the right to reject any dump ins which it deems unsuitable
- payment collected prior to dumping, unless an active account is set up
