Operating five aggregate crushing plants, Romero produces and sells aggregate throughout southern California, northern Baja California, Idaho and San Clemente Island.
Romero currently operates a 4,000 acre 100 million plus ton sand and gravel quarry in Tijuana, Mexico. The quarry, located on the U. S. and Mexican border, operates under the NAFTA Maquiladora program and was specifically set up to import aggregate into southern San Diego County and the Tijuana basin to counter the current aggregate shortages. |
