At Romero General Construction Corp., we bring to the industry not only the best minds, but also the experience and determination to
stand behind our quality work. Whether as a commercial, grade, base, paving or concrete contractor or aggregate materials producer, we focus on a job well done for all our clients.
As President and Owner of Romero General Construction Corp., I would like the opportunity to introduce myself and my company. With
over 100 years of combined construction experience we have found ways to keep costs and pricing down while maximizing service and profit, creating a relationship that will best benefit our clients.
Romero has both a California Class A General Engineering and Class B General Building Contractors License and is certified by the
California Unified Certification Program as a DBE and by the federal government as an 8(a) and SDB firm. The company is also licensed in the state of Nevada. Romero operates as a union
contractor and specializes in design build, fine grading, base placement, asphalt paving, concrete and crushing/recycling.
Recently Romero has been involved primarily in commercial, public works and highway construction projects as well as design build
projects at local Indian reservations. Some of the company’s largest and most recognized projects include the extension of I-15 at 40th Street in San Diego, the reconstruction and extension of Highway 76 in Oceanside, and the airport improvements at San Diego and Ontario International Airports. Romero has also been extensively involved in several projects for government agencies such as the United States Marine Corps., the United States Navy, and the City and County of San Diego. As a subcontractor, Romero has worked with some of the premier general contractors in the state of California such as Kiewit Pacific Co., Palomar Grading & Paving, Inc., and FCI Constructors. Romero carries insurance with A.M. Best rating of VIII and the highest aggregate and single bond to respond to single jobs as high as $12 Million and Aggregate of $20 Million, though these parameters are not intended as “maximums”.
The success Romero has had in the public works sector of the construction industry has provided us with several unique advantages which
I feel Romero can apply to private works to help companies like yours, cut costs on projects in building the street improvements, while providing a superior quality product. Romero has strong financial
backing and bonding capabilities like some of our larger competitors, but is still small and personal enough to provide you with the best possible service. We are members of the BIA, and
feel pleased to associate with other members. I am only a phone call away from solving any problem that your project may encounter.
Sincerely,
ROMERO GENERAL CONSTRUCTION CORP. Keith Reilly
